Ascesa Model 85 basses are designed to support developing players from the very first note—delivering durability, stability, and a dependable, resonant tone. Built with the demands of schools, rental programs, and beginning players in mind, they offer a reliable playing experience that encourages steady progress.
Constructed with a fully laminated spruce top and laminated maple back and ribs, each instrument is built for long-term durability and consistency in high-use environments. A smooth satin varnish finish enhances both protection and visual appeal, while ebony fittings and fingerboard ensure lasting performance and feel.
Equipped with high-quality German brass tuning machines and an ebony tailpiece, the setup provides excellent tuning stability and control for students learning proper technique. A Despiau bridge further enhances response and tonal clarity, creating a balanced and approachable sound.
Available in both violin corner and gamba patterns, and in sizes ranging from 3/4 to 1/8, the Ascesa Model 85 bass offers flexibility across a wide range of players and programs.
